Senior Management
Jorma Virtanen is the Branch Manager of NUS Consulting’s Stockholm office. Jorma obtained an MA degree from the University of Turku (Finland) and a BA degree in Economics from the University of Stockholm. In 1987, he accepted a position with NUS Consulting as an Analyst with particular emphasis on the Finnish market. In 1993, Jorma was promoted to office Production Manager and in 1994 he was promoted into his current position.

Overview

In 1973, NUS Consulting first began providing its services to clients located in Sweden from its London office. In 1986, NUS Consulting opened its Stockholm office in order to better meet the requirements of its clients in this expanding and evolving market. In addition to clients in Sweden, the Stockholm office services businesses located throughout Scandinavia including Denmark, Finland and Norway.

The Nordic electricity market is regarded as one of the most advanced energy purchasing arenas in the world. The liberalization of electricity in Scandinavia affects all levels of consumers from small commercial operations to Fortune 500 companies.
